Lineage & Influences
My approach to Buddhism has been shaped by many teachers, communities, and years of study. I am deeply indebted to the generosity and wisdom of those from whom I have learned.
I continue to regard myself as a lifelong student. This page is offered not as a list of credentials, but as an acknowledgement of the people, traditions, and experiences that have shaped my approach to the Dharma.

Three Buddhist Vehicles
Theravāda
The "Teaching of the Elders" preserves the earliest complete collection of Buddhist scriptures. It emphasizes ethical conduct, meditation, and the cultivation of wisdom through direct insight into the nature of reality, with liberation from suffering as its central goal.
Mahāyāna
The "Great Vehicle" builds upon earlier Buddhist traditions while placing particular emphasis on the Bodhisattva ideal: cultivating wisdom and compassion for the benefit of all beings. It gave rise to a rich diversity of philosophical schools and contemplative practices across East Asia and Tibet.
Vajrayāna
The "Diamond Vehicle" incorporates tantric methods alongside the foundations of the Buddhist path. Through visualization, mantra, ritual, and advanced meditation practices, it seeks to transform ordinary experience into the path to awakening under the guidance of a qualified teacher.
Teachers Who Have Guided My Path
The teachers below have each played a meaningful role in my journey, offering guidance and inspiration through their teachings, practice, and example. Their diverse backgrounds reflect the richness of Buddhist traditions and the many ways the Dharma can be approached.

Engagement with Study
The path of wisdom is a lifelong exploration of the mind's landscape. My engagement with Buddhist studies—spanning philosophy, history, and classical texts—is not a collection of academic credentials, but a continuous journey of discovery. By diving deep into the profound insights preserved in the Dharma, I seek to understand how these ancient maps of consciousness can guide our navigation of the modern world. This academic foundation provides the clarity and structure needed to ground experiential practice in the timeless rigor of the tradition.

Modern Dialogue
Triyana Meditation stands at the intersection of ancient contemplative traditions and modern scientific inquiry. We explore the profound relationship between Buddhist practices and the latest findings in psychology and neuroscience, particularly regarding neuroplasticity, emotion regulation, and the nature of consciousness. This dialogue transforms traditional wisdom into a practical, evidence-based roadmap for navigating the complexities of the modern mind, fostering psychological well-being through the lens of both tradition and science.
While my understanding has been shaped by many traditions and teachers, I remain first and foremost a student. If Triyana has a lineage, it is one of gratitude—to the countless practitioners who preserved these teachings over more than two millennia, and to the teachers who continue to transmit them with generosity and care.
